The mission of the Civil Division is to serve all process in a reasonable and timely manner, while maintaining an impartial position between all parties involved.
The Civil Division is involved with numerous types of processes, such as civil lawsuits, restraining orders, bench warrants, and any other notice or order from the courts. We also levy on wages, bank accounts, vehicles, or any asset of the judgment debtor. Please see the Sheriff Fees section for a current fee schedule.
Documents are accepted in person at the Sheriff’s Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. Requests for the service of documents are civil in nature. Therefore, the Sheriff’s Office will not utilize any criminal investigative tools or criminal databases to ascertain information for the service of your documents. The service of documents is not guaranteed.
