The California State Victim Notification Service (VINE) is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or internet to search for information regarding their offender’s custody status and register to receive telephone and email notification when their offender’s custody status changes.
VINE is a free, anonymous, service that provides information and notification about offenders incarcerated in the Calaveras County Jail. You may register to be notified upon the release of an inmate by using VINELINK.

Select the "Search" tab.

Select "Choose Facility".

Choose "Calaveras County Sheriff's Office" from the drop down menu.

Enter the Last Name of the person your are searching for.

Enter the First Name -or- a First Initial in the First Name box.

You may also enter a Date of Birth or age range if you desire.

Click on Search. If there is a match the information will display.

Click on Detail to see more information and to begin the registration process.

You may register for notification if you desire, click on Continue under Register for Notification.

Enter the telephone number and the PIN number that YOU want to use.

Click on Register, you will be given a successful registration message and you will be notified when the person is released from custody.
